I can finally say that it is so good to be back in Tennessee. I enjoyed Michigan for the most part but I really love it here and I feel safe here. Well, I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Years.

I really haven’t decided on what I was going to do for New Years but I think I might go to this church function that is going on. Then again I would really just like to hang out with some friends of mine at someone’s house. I’m not really big on going out.

On another subject, I would just like to talk about my trip to Michigan. The drive up there wasn’t bad. It was cold of course but it was nothing that I couldn’t handle. So my ex is up there and of course we make plans to hang out. And so we did. Tell me why the next day I get a call from some chick yelling “So you messing with Jamar now?” I then proceed to hang up because it was Christmas and I don’t have time for petty things. I am not about to ruin my Christmas arguing with you because you THINK something is going on between us.

Later that night my phone starts blowing up. It was Jamar calling me. So I calmly went off on him about the situation. My main point was that if you have a chick don’t make plans to hang out with me alone because I don’t want them to get the wrong idea and be trying to fight me. I just hate being put in that situation and so I figured it was time to just end that friendship.

There were a lot of other reasons why I ended the friendship but I don’t feel like writing all of that out.

That was just part one of the bullsh*t that I went through. I get a text from my homeboy who now resides in ATL saying that we basically can’t be friends anymore cuz his girl is getting upset. What is up with these females? I could see if I was trying to steal him away, but it’s so not like that. I just have tons of guy friends and he was one of them. So that makes a total of 2 friends I have lost in 2 days.

OH IT GETS BETTER!

I got back from Michigan on Thursday and I was hanging out with a friend of mine. Before I went I thought I would stop by and see my niece. After than I then went to Mt. Juliet where I was going to hang out with Jamal. After a few minutes of me arriving we decided that we should go eat somewhere. Cool. We get in my car and pull out the driveway. My car was wobbling a little but I thought nothing of it because their driveway was gravel.

Well, I was wrong. I had a flat tire. And the fact that my spare tire is messed up didn’t help either. So there I was STUCK in Mt. Juliet. I didn’t call anyone to come all the way up there to rescue me because it was way too far, and I couldn’t remember how to get out there. So I ended up having to crash at his place. Oh, and lets not forget that my phone charger was at home and my phone was dying.

The real messed up part was that I had to be at my new job as a freelancer at 8:30am. Well considering that my car had a flat and my phone was dead I couldn’t make it. I made sure that I called up there to let them know the situation so I could still come in. Everything worked out there.

The best part of the last few days was the fact that I got to hang out with a Jamal. Despite all the things that happened to my car, I enjoyed spending time and getting to know him better. We created this nice beat for a song and now we just need to add the write the lyrics, which is going to be difficult for me, but I’m sure I can come up with something.  I hope there will be a next time I can come hang out and hopefully I will not get another flat tire.

This time tomorrow I will be back home in Michigan. I really didn’t want to go back home but when else would I be doing if I didn’t go. I don’t have to work again until Thursday so staying here would seem a little boring to me. My sister, mom, and niece are leaving out around 2AM for the 8 hour drive back to Flint Mi. I talked with my Aunt today and she said that the street weren’t covered at all with snow so hopefully our drive will go smoothly.

I still havent packed yet and probably won’t until later on tonight. I just got off work and I don’t really feel like doing anything but relaxing on my bed. I am getting sleepy though but I don’t want to sleep yet. I would rather sleep in the car the whole way so the trip wont seem so long.

So here is some exciting news! I have been sending out application after application to get a job in my field now that I am a graduate from my college. WELL!!! Yesterday I received a phone call from this lady that received my email and would for like me to come in to start working on some freelance inhouse projects. I am not sure what all it will consist of but I hope it’s something I can quit my other job for. I would rather be working in my field then working at a retail store.

Speaking of retail I am so sick of the attitudes everyone has around the Christmas season. It’s a time to be cheerful and jolly not bitchy. There were so many rude people at my job today. And I had to deal with them all because I am a cashier. It was so frustrating to do my job when someone on the other side of the counter is rushing you because they have somewhere else to be. It’s not my fault you waited until the last minute to start buying Christmas presents. It’s not my fault that we are pretty much sold out of everything and you have been traveling to other locations to find an item.

And on top of all the stress, the girl I was checking out with is practically new so im trying to do my job and teach her. What kind of sense does that make? Why am I training someone is the middle of the Christmas rush? I think they have it out for me. But I held on today. I am not sure if I will be able to next week tho. Thank goodness I have the next 5 days off.

I think I would have killed someone.

Okay, the past few days I have been struggling with repurchasing my other domain. My dad came through and let me use his credit card. Well, here was just the start of the issues I would face. For some reason when I was trying to purchase the renewal I would always go to a page telling me there was an error. So I thought I might have to use his address and all that jazz and it still didn’t work. So I called the people and told them the issue. They said that I would be able to retry again today and I did. Well, once again I couldn’t purchase the dang thing so I called the people again explaining the situation I was facing now. Needless to say, I have my domain name back and it’s up and running again. I can’t believe that Christmas is Tuesday. This year has gone by so fast. But I am excited to see what 2008 will bring me. I am also preparing myself for the cold that I am about to face in the next few days. I am going back home to Michigan for Christmas this year. And after talking with my grandfather I should expect a lot of snow and cold weather. I just hope I don’t get sick. I would be so upset if I did. I also hope I don’t run into my ex while I am there. I did last time and it was a little awkward. But nothing I couldn’t handle.

I’m just excited to see my mom’s side of the family.

Let the party begin!

I would like to say that it still seems unreal that i am finally done with college.  But I did party hard last night and I plan on doing it again tonight. Of course, I went to my local bar for karaoke night. So many of my friends came it was ridiculous. Even my old managers from Chili’s. It was an awesome night. I got so wasted last night that I started to drunk text a certain person Well, we had a pretty interesting and explicit conversation that last basically all night. HA. It was fun.

But all the partying last night really did help the fact that I forgot I would watch my niece in the morning while my mom went to work. So I didn’t get in until about 3 and I wake up to loud banging at my door around 630AM. I then wanted to cry because I was still feeling that alcohol from last night. But I made due. Thank goodness she is about to turn 3 and can basically take care of herself. She is the type that doesn’t like someone to help them out. So we just hung out in my room while my mom was at work.

Well let me get off here and relax a little more before tonight.

Tomorrow is officially my last day school ever! NO more annoying ass teachers, NO more bullshit and drama going on at school, NO more waking up early as hell for class. But unfortunately, I will miss the people there. They have really become my extended family there.

I am going to party so hard tomorrow night and Wednesday night. I am going to the bar right down the street from me and I am going to get drunk and sing karaoke. What a combination that will be. CAN’T WAIT!

I just can’t believe I actually stuck it through with school even though there were times where I just wanted to quit all together and never go back. But I hung in there and now I am about to graduate. The only part that sucks is that I have to wait until July to walk. I am not sure though if I am going to come back and walk. A lot of people are telling me that I should because it would give me a chance to see all my friends again.

This is something that I am going to have to think about. I will more than likely walk just for show because by the time it comes I will already have my diploma. But anyway, I am just excited right now. I am not excited that I have to work tonight but I need money. Who doesn’t?!
