Hello. I just wanted to let you all know that I am going to be absent from here for a little while. I will be out of town from Thursday until Saturday. I am going to Memphis for my aunts wedding. I am excited to see my dad’s side of the family. I really haven’t seen them since my grandmother died. But anyways, I am really excited to hopefully see my good friend. I haven’t seen him in over 2 years. We still keep in contact but it’s not that often. I just hope I get to see an old friend. I actually miss him.

It is basically a website where talented kids can be known. And there are some really talented kids in this world. I wish there was site like this when I was little because I think I could possibly be a child star. I was singing all the time as a kid. I still sing now but not as much as back in the day. I should put my neice on there…she is a real class act. She can entertain you for hours and hours. I can tell she is really going to be the center of attention. Some of the things that come out of her mouth amazes me. For one I never knew that a 3 year old could have such great sentence structure or even a high vocabulary for her age. She’s so smart.

Have you heard of this show called Intervention? It’s based of real life stories of drug users and their effect on others life. It’s a really sad show because you view first hand on how the drugs effect the user and their loved one reactions. At first I was wondering why would someone put on air them using a drug but then I realized that the reason for the show is to help the individual get better and stop using. I’m watching CSI:Miami right now and a commercial for it came on and it was this kid that was talking about how much him mom uses. It was so sad because the boy was crying his heart out and his mom was out of it because she had taken so many pills. What a crazy world we live in.

I am really not a fan on spring/summer. It just reminds me that there are going to be bugs out trying to get into your homes to stay cool. I am so sick of seeing bugs in my house. It’s not often that I see them but at the same time I don’t care for them to be in my house. Anyways, I am going to get off here and do something productive around my apartment.

I have been doing some freelance lately. It’s really hard to keep up with it tho because I also have to balance out my regular 7-4 job. But anyways, I am designing two shirts for a singer/songwriter. I really do like that designs that I came up with. I need to get started on working on this website and other things. I know I am rambling on but I honestly have nothing to talk about right now. I just know that it felt really good outside today. Hope it also felt great where ever you are.

Father’s Day went really well with my family. My sister came in town and on Saturday we (both my sisters and their significant others) went to my dad’s house when him and his wife went to the movies. We started grilling and just had fun. By the time my dad came home the food was all ready and we surprised him. He was really excited. For his present we got him a really nice suit. He usually wears solid color suits so this time we got him a suit that has pin stripes. Then on Sunday after church we had balloons and a cake… and we gave him another suit that we got him. This one was a dark chocolate pin striped suit also. He was super excited. It’s good to see him so happy with so much going on in the family right now. It seems like every week someone else in the hospital and I can see the look of worriedness on his face. And the fact that his job at Saturn works him to death doesn’t help either. But he is that type of person to never call out or take a day off unless it’s necessary. I can not wait until the day he tells me he has retired. I think then he will finally get the rest he deserves.

Not much is going on right now. I am just happy I have a normal lifestyle at my apartment again. For those who don’t know, I had to give my dog away. I really didn’t want to but it’s not fair for him to be stuck in the kennel that long because I work from 7-4. Not only that he would bark throughout the whole night and I would be so tired in the mornings because I never could get enough sleep. But I am happy that I know he is gone to a better home. The lady I gave him to presented him as a Father’s Day present to her husband who has been wanting a min pin for years now. She was super excited and that made me happy. Maybe later down the road I will get another dog or a cat.
