I have been really thinking that it’s time for me to get a job in my field. I feel like I am not really accomplishing all the things that I would like to do because I am working a regular 9-5 job. Don’t get me wrong, I love the job that I do (sometimes) but it’s time to put my degree to use. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to walk across the stage for my Bachelor degree and while I was sitting there I realized that I need to do something about this. I have been looking and applying for jobs in my field but since it’s so competitive I really haven’t heard back from anyone. I really wish I could just have one chance to interview with someone because each time I interview I gain more experience with all the questions they ask. You wouldn’t believe some of the questions that I have been asked. Everyone keep praying that something will come along, please.

Well I have some sad news… I was informed that Bernie Mac passed away. He was a talented comedian and is known to be one of the Original Kings of Comedy. He also starred in some great movies like the Ocean’s series and Charlie’s Angels 2. He will be missed greatly. But not only did he pass away, but the great and talented Issac Hayes has also left us. If you don’t know who he is just google Shaft and you will learn who he is.

Moving to Philly? jobs in Philadelphia.

I have been in my apartment for months now and I still don’t have any patio furniture. I have everything else BUT that. I think that is the next item on my list to get for this place. I am still decorating slowly but surely. It’s hard to design an entire apartment with your style. I did get some cute decorative pillows for my couch, but I need something for the loveseat and chair that I have. My sister moved here from TX and she gave me her fireplace set since where she and her husband moved to doesn’t have a fireplace. Everything is coming along, I just wish it could come along faster. But I just need to have patience.

Did anyone else see the opening of the Olympics at Beijing?! I was so amazed how all the tricks were not computer generated but were done by people. I just wonder how long it took them to actually get the choreography down pat. I think I could watch that over and over again and still be amazed at the talent they have with precision. All I know is that wherever the Olympics are held in the next four years, they are going to have to step up the game and come with something more explosive and unique.

I have been slacking ALOT on working out lately. I don’t know what really happened. I was working out with a friend of mine and we both have been lazy. I think it has been about a month since we last did anything. I dont even workout on my own like I used to and I am starting to see the consequences for not staying focus and I dont like it one bit. The thought of taking diet pills came in my head, but I quickly shot that down. I don’t want to start because I heard that once you stop your body reacts badly to not having the boost it created for you. So I think it’s best to create that boost naturally.

I will be glad to say that my ex and I made up. I don’t know if you all remember (if I even mentioned it) but we got into a little argument when he was in town a few months ago. I will have to say that I did act like an ass and I was taking out some frustration on him so I do understand why we got into it. But that is all behind us and we are still friends. In fact, he is planning on coming back to visit at the end of this month. Hopefully, this time I don’t be so mean to him. I know you are probably thinking are we going to get back together or not. It’s been some years since we were together so to answer that question I am not sure.
