I have been really thinking that it’s time for me to get a job in my field. I feel like I am not really accomplishing all the things that I would like to do because I am working a regular 9-5 job. Don’t get me wrong, I love the job that I do (sometimes) but it’s time to put my degree to use. A few weeks ago I had the opportunity to walk across the stage for my Bachelor degree and while I was sitting there I realized that I need to do something about this. I have been looking and applying for jobs in my field but since it’s so competitive I really haven’t heard back from anyone. I really wish I could just have one chance to interview with someone because each time I interview I gain more experience with all the questions they ask. You wouldn’t believe some of the questions that I have been asked. Everyone keep praying that something will come along, please.

Getting a job in your chosen field is great, although it can be difficult. I hope you get a job doing what you love and what you’re trained to do.
Job hunting is difficult in general, no matter if you have the skills or not. Something is bound to come up though, just keep trying and keep your fingers crossed!
Some catchy references, constant applying…and they´ll call and invite you quicker than you think. Good luck!
Just keep being persistent and don’t let it get you down. Like you said, the more interviews you do, the more experience you’ll gain about the sort of questions that will be thrown at you. Good luck.
good luck with the this! i dont do well with interviews.. lol.. thank god i dont have to work for nobody.. id suck! lol
I’m going through the same thing. I can not for the life of me get a job in my field.
Hopefully, you have better luck than I’ve been having.
I know the feeling, but you just keep doing what you’re doing. Applying, calling, whatever you have to. I wanted to take up Graphics Designing, but I realized how tough the field is, job wise.
Just don’t give up, an opportunity will come up sooner or later.
Job hunting is hard but Im sure you’ll be able to pass it.
I wish you luck with getting a good new job!
Congrats on getting your degree.
Have you ever considered going into business for yourself (freelancing I mean) until something comes up? Keep trying and never give up.
That’s one of my fears—that I’ll spend so much money getting this dang BFA and I won’t end up doing anything with it.
Good luck, hopefully you’ll find something soon!
Just keep pounding the pavement and the job you’re meant to have will come. I know how you feel it took me over a year to find a job in my field and then after about 6 months the position was eliminated and I was right back where I started!
Don’t worry it will work out! Good luck I hope you find what you’re looking for!
I hope you get a job you like soon!
I hope the job you are looking for passes the opportunity to you soon!
