Gas Shortage

The past few days here have been crazy. I don’t know if your state is dealing with this issue but I know in Tennessee many people cannot get gas for their car (I have also heard that Atlanta is having the same problems). I live in the Antioch area and I will be damned if every gas station within the 30 mile radius is out of gas. I keep hearing that the problem of the shortage is because of Hurricane Ike only because it threw off the normal shipping routine for our gas. I don’t know how true that is but I could understand it.

But I do know one thing that if you do find a gas station that actually has some gas be ready to sit in a long line that stretches at least a mile. I have seen so many of those and I have refused to sit in one because by the time you actually get to a pump they are usually out of gas again. And because of that there has been many fights all over the area. It’s crazy here.

I just wonder how long this is going to last because I know that I am going to be needing gas in the near future and I am not in the mood to have to wait to get gas again. Thankfully the last time I got gas I just so happened turned out of my apartment complex and the gas station right down the street had a small line forming so I jumped in it.

I can’t wait for this to be over and everything go back to normal.

The weird thing about this gas shortage is that I live right where Hurricane Ike hit, and I had no trouble finding gas and it was reasonably priced compared to everywhere else. I hope you are able to find some place to get it when you need it.

Wow, I’ve been reading lots of blogs recently talking about hiding out during Hurricane Ike and stuff. I didn’t realise that it would slow a lot of things down like gas and probably groceries too. It definitely is an inconvenience, I hope things go well and back to normal soon too!

I live kind of up north, so I’ve never experienced any hurricane effects (except for my parents getting jacked up gas prices). I hope you find some gas soon!

I don’t think it was Hurricane Ike, honestly. I read post on newschannel5.com and lots of commenters said someone fucked up or something, I don’t really know. I ended up finding some Monday, thank goodness.

I just noticed you don’t have an RSS feed… you need to get one so I Can add you to my reader, lady.
