I have been sitting at the computer pretty much all day today. And the only thing I have been doing is designing my new business card and redesigning one for my father’s church. I am excited to actually have some things to design for the next few days thanks to my lovely father.

On top of sitting here all day I have been listening to the same CD over and over again because I just do not feel like getting up to change it and loosing my concentration. That is sad isn’t it! HA. At least I finished both designs. I would put them on here to show you but I don’t want all you haters to bite my style. LOL. I’m just kidding. I’m not going to put it up yet cuz I want to make sure that i stick with the design and I need to have my dad approve his new business card.

You know I really can’t stand when people tell me one thing but yet do another. Like my friend that I like to call “Karate Kid.” He was supposed to help me move into my apartment because I didn’t have that much help and I also wanted another guy here to help my brother in law out. Well, the plan was for him to spend the night Friday night because he has to ride the bus and the bus only runs for so long. The plan was set in stone. Well, Friday came and went without a word from him. I would at least think that if you either couldn’t make it or something came up that you would at least have the dignity to let me know either way. I wouldn’t have been upset. I would have understood.

But since I still haven’t heard from you I realize how unreliable he is. And he wonders why I don’t want to be with you. I can’t be with someone who doesn’t stay true to their word. I need someone that is reliable and someone that doesn’t want to play video games all day long. Or even play cartoon games on the computer. How can you be 27 and still act like you are 16? I just don’t get it. When is he going to realize that he has priorities in his life [like his kids!]

I am moved in with my sister. It’s weird to have a roommate since I have been on my own for about a year now. I am really going to miss my own space and being able to do anything that I wanted to without having to make sure it was okay first. But I do realize that me staying here is going to help me out in the long run.

I woke up this morning with the same headache I have had for 2 days now. I believe the headache is due to all the stress that I am going thru. As you may know, or not know, i was one of the people that got laid off of a job because the company couldn’t afford us anymore. Since then I have been on the man hunt for a new one and still haven’t found one. My father paid this months rent but next month I am on my own. Well, after some thought and talking with my oldest sister about it I have decided to move in with her because I cannot pay $580. Here is the catch: my lease is technically up March 1st ANYWAY. I got a letter on my door early January stating that I need to either terminate my lease or renew. At the time I had a job so I had all intentions in staying so I didn’t worry about contacting them at the time. Well as days and weeks went by I realized that I will not have a job in time to pay for March’s rent since I was going to renew anyways. Well yesterday I faxed over a letter to the complex saying that I will be terminating my lease and to forward my mail to the address provided. I then get a call and a letter saying that because I failed to give them the 60 day notice my move out date is April 12th and that I will have to pay the month to month rate for my apartment, which is $660 on top of 12 days in April, $272. So that’s a total of $932 that I have to fork out for an apartment I am not going to live in.

At this point I am very upset because they fail to realize that if I don’t have a job that mean I HAVE NO INCOME COMING IN TO PAY THE RENT. I know they needed 60 days notice but 60 days ago I had a job. So basically, either way it goes I am not going to be in this apartment come March 1 because I can’t pay the rent. They can hassle me all they want but until I get a job they are not getting a penny. Hell they can even try to evict me but I bet they will be disappointed when they come in my apartment and see it completely empty. Sucks for them.

On a lighter note, as I woke up and started to check my email, I noticed there was an email from Live Nation. They send me updates on who is coming in town for concerts. I rarely check them but I’m glad I did this one. At the bottom of the page I notice that New Kids on the Block were coming here. I am by no means a fan but when I saw who was performing before them I knew right then that I would have to go unfortunately.

The Jabbawockeez are coming!!!!! I can’t even express the excitement that I am having right now. But here’s the problem… none of my friends are going to want to go. Trust me I have asked. LOL. When they hear NKOTB they quickly tell me nevermind. And I don’t blame them one bit. I do know one thing, I AM going to see them even if I have to go alone. I don’t mind at all. As the nerd that I am I went ahead and bought one of their shirts so I can sport it when they get here!

I am absolutely shocked with what I am about to post. I never would have thought I would be sitting here on the couch reading about assualt charges that R&B singer, Chris Brown, is facing. Not in a million years would I ever consider him to be an abuser. Here is a piece of the article if you have not heard about it:

Rihanna has been identified as the victim in Chris Brown’s assault charge, TMZ first reported, and now there’s more details coming out about what happened in the hours after the incident. A RadarOnline.com witness who was in the hospital with Rihanna says the ‘Disturbia’ singer “was clearly very upset by what had happened and I could hear her screaming.”

The source also says that Rihanna’s “staff was also very shaken by what had happened. Later on I saw one of the assistants crying into the shoulder of the security guard. I left at 4pm, happy to get out of the place, something terrible had clearly happened to Rihanna.” Read the Full RadarOnline.com Report

TMZ first reported that Brown had surrendered to police. He posted $50,000 bail and was released, and according to one source, Rihanna “suffered contusions and bite marks.”

The LAPD had stated in a release the 19-year-old R&B singer and a woman were in a vehicle in the Hancock Park neighborhood early Sunday when they began arguing. After they exited the car, the argument escalated. The LAPD has indicated they will not release the accuser’s name.
“The identity of the victim will not be released,” Officer April Harding said at the time. “Any victim who’s involved in a domestic violence incident is entitled to confidentiality.”

According to a PEOPLE source, Rihanna and Brown have had “lots of ups and downs” of late, saying that “one second they’re all lovey dovey and then they’re fighting like crazy. They’re both pretty stubborn.”

Brown has long been dating pop superstar Rihanna, who was slated to perform early in the Grammys show on Sunday night. But she dropped out, the Recording Academy said in a statement less than an hour before the show and she was not seen at the venue as the show was about to get under way.

“We have just been informed that Rihanna will not be attending tonight’s 51st Annual Grammy Awards. We’re sorry she is unable to join us,” the academy said in a brief statement that did not offer any further explanation.

I really thought they would be one of the few hollywood couples that would last but apparently I was wrong.

You know I have been talking about relationships lately with some friends and we all seem to agree that relationships are not the same as they were back in the day. The main objective with relationships these day are all about seeing how easy and quick it is to have sex with them. What happened to wanting to get to know that person: What’s their favorite color? What gets under their skin? What is the most interesting thing that has ever happened to you? It is very rare that you find someone that just wants to establish a good conversation. This is why i choose not to date right now because sex is the main focus with guys these days.
