Monday night was the best time of my life. I went to a concert and saw the best group ever! THE JABBAWOCKEEZ! As you may know from previous post I love them. Their dancing skills never cease to amaze me. The sharp moves, the isolations, the intricate dancing! I could go on and on about them. But I finally went to see them. Unfortunately, they came with NKOTB. Thank goodness I found a friend of mine that wanted to go with me because I would have left after the Jabbawockeez performed.
The best part of the whole night was the fact that after they performed my friend that works at the Sommet Center called me and told me they were signing autographs in the front. I was SUPER excited. As I was walking there I realized that I didn’t have anything for them to sign so I bought a bandanna. The line was short probably because half the people at the venue only wanted to see NKOTB. I really didn’t mind it being short either.
So my turn came for them to start signing and I was speechless. The first guy comment on my shirt and gave me a high five so that was awesome. My main focus was at the very end of the table. And his name is Kevin Brewer. LOL.
I have a serious crush on that man. I believe I read somewhere that he was married which is a shame if he is but there is no harm in having a crush on someone. We made eye contact with each other a few time before I got to where he was sitting. I know I had the biggest cheese on my face when I saw him. I think I could only utter out “HI” and “I’M FINE, HOW ARE YOU”. What a dork I was! I wish I could go back to that time and redo it again.
I almost forgot that as I was walking to meet them these girls were going crazy about these two black guys that were dressed just like the jabbawockeez with the mask and everything. I was laughing so hard because people are running up to them wanting them to take photos with them. I feel bad for them when they flash that photo around and someone tells them that they are not part of the group. LOL.
Here are a few photos/videos from the concert:
