Anger

I can’t stand when I am trying to be serious about something and someone makes a joke about it.

For instance:

My dad emailed everyone in the church to completely an anger assessment for what we are studying for bible study. Well, after I filled it out I realized that I am a very angry person.

I found more tests online and completed them and I scored so high on everyone of them that the description said I needed to seek professional help.

So I email my concern about this to people in my family and I get back, “LOL…We all know you need help.”

Thanks so much for taking this as a joke.

That makes me feel even better!!

And they wonder why I get angry so much.

I sometimes wish I was apart of a different family where I can be appreciated. Instead of when I come to them I usually get a “well…you should have done this” or “you should have done that.”

How about some words of encouragement? Is that so much to ask?

Apparently so.

Oh, that is frustrating when you’re trying to be serious and people make fun. Because it’s discrediting your feelings. But I guess that’s families for ya and you just have to take everything with a grain of salt.
