Bloggerstock: “What Is Your Theme Song?”

Bloggerstock was formed by a few 20 something bloggers who thought crashing google’s search engine would be frickin hilarious… Unfortunately, about 45 other member’s thought so too! Here’s how it works: everyone who participates will be featured on someone else’s blog with the same post topic… Therefore, a Blogring is formed and google is crashed! lol jk, but I’m pretty sure if you tried to search our topics; your system will overload. May’s topic is: “What is your theme song?”

Lynn is a 21 year old full time student studying Accounting in Detroit, Michigan. Some of her interests are Art History, Pirates, Volleyball, Swimming, Opera, and Theater, to name a few. Her favorite movies are The Twilight Saga [yay!], Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, and Harry Potter. Though her posts may be a bit random, they are also very entertaining!

What is Lynn’s Theme Song? Her Response:

Well damnit, I honestly don’t know; hince my bi-polarism. No but really my mood’s change with the season so one minute I can be happy with a song and it can describe my entire life, then the next I absolutely hate what it is talking about. I also found out that when you play a song over and over – it gets boring. So songs don’t last forever.. but if I must choose, it’d have to be my cousin’s band (Noon:30) single called Orphane. Listen Here :o ) !

This song is my theme song because it’s edgy but soft at the same time – kinda like me. You can hear the emotion through the vocals – pain, anger, and sadness but then hope overrides it all. That kind of describes my life in a nut shell.

Many people think that your life theme song has to be inspirational and postive but a little “EMO” is good every now and again. Which leads me to a bigger question… Why can’t we show people the real us? I mean seriously! Everyone is so fake these days. Putting on a facade like you are actually happy or ‘hard’ when deep down inside you are softer than wet tissue? Seriously people! I think that if you are more genuine with yourself, and the people you love… more chances and opportunities will open up therefore creating a more fulfilling life. Stop waiting for you life to happen. THIS IS IT! So act like it!

Your cousin’s band has a great sound! I completely agree with you that people should put up less of a facade and be more real both online and in person.

I love the “wet tissue” parallel. I laughed for the longest time.
Your cousin’s band has a very nice sound!

I think it’s really cool that you posted your cousin’s music, Lynn! Unfortunently I couldn’t listen to it :( . But my computer just sucks.

Now, what I also had to say is…
